FAST TRAX Beat the Blues Boogie

Beat The Blues Boogie was started by Harvey and Roger back in 2001 and was the result of the desperate winter we had in 2001 where it would not snow and the Birkie was cancelled. They proved in true nordic sprit that with proper massaging of available snow an event was still possible, and therefore beat the blues that skiers here were going through. It was the only loppet in the Edmonton area that year and had over 200 participants. And if you remember "Who Let The Dogs Out" was the opening theme song as the gun went off. Ah, those were the days!

2010 Beat The Blues Boogie

The tradition continues with the 2nd annual Beat The Blues Boogie to raise funds for cancer research in the name of Roger Tetrault.
