Quality movement is the foundation of athletic performance and is, therefore, Propel's main focus before proceeding to loaded progressions. This allows for the minimization of injury risk and maximization of our athletes’ performance.
Once quality movement patterns have been established, then you will progress through training that will include loaded movement, traditional and non-traditional resistance training using body weight and external loads. Power (speed strength) training will be gradually introduced utilizing explosive body weight movements (lower and upper body plyometrics), and select explosive weightlifting movements (once an adequate strength base is achieved).
Strength and power training has been proven effective in improving work economy, reducing injury risk (dramatically), without adversely impacting aerobic capacity or body composition.
Our 10,000 square foot facility, state of the art equipment and small group maximums provides the athlete an opportunity to train with a one on one focus while enjoying the positive group atmosphere and pricing.
